At Golden Star Technology (GST), we are seeking a skilled Audiovisual (AV) CAD Technician to transform rough AV sketches into detailed technical drawings. In this role, you will utilize CAD software to document systems drawings for the engineering and installation of audiovisual systems. Your success will be measured by your ability to produce accurate and precise visual representations that meet our client's needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and generate comprehensive drawings for integrated GST customer projects.
Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineers, Project Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure drawings are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Conduct research on components as needed to create precise depictions and drawings.
Maintain and update drawing templates and standards to ensure consistency across all projects.
Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineering and installation teams.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
Document design changes and update drawings accordingly.
Participate in project meetings to understand project scope and requirements.
Assist in the development of AV system design and layout, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAD software and AV technology to ensure high-quality outputs.
Assist with all AV engineering tasks and related duties as required.
Qualifications
Proven proficiency in AutoCAD software.
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of signal flow for audio, video, and control systems.
Familiarity with AV or other electro-mechanical installation techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
AV or IT industry experienced is required.
