Audio Video Technician

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for providing on site installation of Audio/Video equipment, Displays, speakers, microphones, plates, cable and other similar devices for a complete project installation.

• Work with team members to provide the labor necessary to install AV systems
• Terminate, solder, test, and tune audio-video equipment and systems
• Read blue prints and schematics and install as shown on drawings
• Comply with Company policies, as well as health and safety
• Other duties as required and assigned
  
  

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Technology background education
• Ability to travel, use of vehicle
• Traverse up/down Ladders, Man lifts, etc. without issue
• Certifications/degree in electronics
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Possess an understanding of electronic systems, such as professional sound, video, intercom, audio-visual presentation, control and integration systems
• Strong computer knowledge
• Fundamental understanding of Network systems/IP addresses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Strong Project management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to shifting in priorities
