Audio Video Technician
Job Summary:
Audio Video Technician is responsible for providing excellent guest experience at T-Mobile Center events by assisting planning, operation, and maintenance of video board system and other audio-visual systems. This position will be a creative and technical position that will assist in event based productions, closed circuit television, and other related duties. This position requires a flexible, part-time work schedule, which will include some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position will be a creative and technical position that will assist in event based productions, closed circuit television, and other related duties. This position requires a flexible, part-time work schedule, which will include some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Duties:
- Assist in determination of equipment and service requirements for events.
- Set up, operation and strike of professional audio-visual equipment for event production: audio consoles/systems, microphones, lighting boards, fixtures, cameras, graphic systems, video switchers, recording/replay system, media playback system.
- Maintenance of professional audio-visual equipment and assistance in maintaining equipment by making minor repairs and adjustments or by reporting need for repairs.
- Operate and ensure all audio and video equipment is being used properly and to its highest potential.
- Maintain a professional work ethic and relationships with team members, supervisors and clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A minimum education level of High School Diploma or its equivalency.
- One year of related work experience.
- Ability to operate and install computer equipment/machinery above and below eye level.
- Demonstrate proper knowledge and use of all procedures, techniques, machines, materials, equipment, and tools used for this position.
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
- Follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position as well as move about the venue including stairs, efficiently for extended periods of time. Position includes climbing, kneeling, lifting, carrying, grasping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on events, including evening, weekends, and some holidays.
- Proven experience with the equipment/software listed:
- Daktronics Video boards and equipment
- Sony 3-CCD Cameras
- Ross Video Switcher
- Pinnacle DEKO
- Avid Editing Systems
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe After Effects
- Video editing, animation and graphic creation proficiency preferred.
- 1 year of event based production experience preferred.
- Specific experience as it relates to video/scoreboard production in a 16,000+ seat sports and entertainment facility; organizing and directing event production requirements for sporting and entertainment arena events preferred.
