AUDIO ENGINEER
PART-TIME, HOURLY, NON-EXEMPT CURRENT TO 6/30/24
FULL-TIME, HOURLY, NON-EXEMPT EFFECTIVE 8/1/24
VARIABLE HOURS - 11-12 MONTHS
REPORTS DIRECTLY TO THEATER MANAGER/TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Schedule: Weekly Chapel schedules are set; other calendar events vary and are scheduled one year in advance with rehearsal schedules generally available two weeks in advance.
Description: This eleven-twelve-month, part-time position reports to the Theater Manager/Technical Director
Duties And Responsibilities
Part-time audio engineer for weekly chapels, concerts, theatre productions, and events. This is an hourly position with varied hours depending on the calendar and production schedule.
Live sound mixing experience required--with experience on a Yamaha QL5 console and Sennheiser wireless equipment a plus. Qualified candidates must have a strong background and understanding of theatrical and live music mixing techniques.
Experience with videography and lighting a plus!
Flexibility and a collaborative attitude as well as ability to work well with high school students in a Christian school setting is a must.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
MENTAL FUNCTIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile and negotiate.
Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
