Audio and Visual Technician (Part-Time)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support for the technical aspects of the events.
  • Provides quality customer services.
  • Consistently upkeeps AV shop and AV equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and corrects any issues involving all types of AV equipment.
  • Installs, replaces, and configures TV and TV settings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to create a relationship of trust and loyalty by delivering accessible, efficient, and reliable services and products for internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

  • High school degree or equivalent degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting audio/video.


Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The employee will be standing in an indoor/outdoor facility the majority of the time and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to stand at heights including scaffolding. The employee is regularly required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee must be able to work up to 40 hours a week including weekends and holidays.

Equipment/machinery used includes lift.


Travel:

0% of travel time expected for the position both intra and interstate occasionally requiring overnight stay.
