Outreach Legal, LLC provides personalized legal services with zealous advocacy for clients that have suffered injury or illness and are eligible for representation through VA Appeals. Our attorneys have substantial litigation experience, along with over a decade assisting disabled individuals through the complexities of our legal system. As an Entry-Level Attorney at Outreach Legal, you will have the opportunity to kick-start your legal career in a supportive and challenging environment. This role offers exposure to a wide range of legal matters yet will have a focus on Accident and Injury as well as VA Claim Appeals. This role provides hands-on experience that will contribute to your professional development. You will work closely with experienced attorneys while building a legal company from the ground up. This person will work remotely in Eastern or Central Time Zones.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research, interpret, and analysis on Federal laws and rulings by the US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
• Review adjudications by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal briefs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of matters.
• Support litigation efforts, including case management and preparation for hearings and trials.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company's operations.
• Make decisions on the best path forward for clients.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.

Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• At least one (1) year of experience as an Intern or practicing attorney.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required.
