The Salisbury School, located in Salisbury, Maryland seeks an Athletic Director to lead the school’s varsity athletic program. Major Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Contributor to all school efforts to improve the school in all areas as part of the school administrative team.
Oversight and implementation of growth plan and development for athletic programs.
Manager of coaches, teams, fields of plays, alternate use of athletic facilities.
Maintains and schedules all athletic events, including practices, games, and clinics.
Develops programs for building relationships with feeder schools and outreach to young athletes.
Coordinates volunteers to promote and support athletic programs.
Engages to enhance fundraising for all programs including athletics.
Supervises ongoing training for coaches and enhancement of programs.
Facilitates communications through all types of media of athletic programs throughout the school year.

Requirements
A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Prior successful coaching experience and management of teams.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Time management, organizational and prioritization skills.
Supervisory and office management.
Excellent communications skills which include social media, relationships with print media, and oral presentations.
