Meeting Street is currently looking for an Athletic Director for an average of five hours per week.
Duties
Provide guidance and direction for The Grace School and The Hope Academy’s sports program.
Hire and terminate coaching staff as needed with support from the head of school.
Supervise and communicate effectively with all coaches and evaluate coaches at the end of their sport season.
Initiate and facilitate long-range planning to further develop and improve athletic programs ( Adding more sports to specific seasons, Establishing competitive teams and developmental teams, Being able to join a conference).
Responsible for scheduling the following:
practice schedules.
meet schedules.
use of fields and courts.
Transportation.
meal arrangements, if necessary.
Requirements
Valid coaching certificate from RIDE or the ability to obtain.
Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate or the ability to obtain.
