Department of Business at Lane College is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Business. The Assistant Professor will work closely with the Department of Business to Implement and instruct students using various instructional modes for traditional, hybrid or online setting.

Department of Business at Lane College is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Business. The Assistant Professor will work closely with the Department of Business to Implement and instruct students using various instructional modes for traditional, hybrid or online setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute teaching strategies, monitor and evaluate student progress, and maintain accurate student records.
- Advise and mentor students.
- Participate in department, division, and college meetings.
- Attend scheduled Department, division, and college staff meetings.
- Contribute to the College and community environment.
- Teach 2 courses (6 hours).
- Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Finance, Economics and/or Accounting
- A doctorate in Finance or Economics is preferred.
- Ability to teach Finance and/or Economics and accounting courses.
- Excellent computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Sitting for long periods of time, walking, climbing stairs, bending and stretching may be required at a minimum of 1% of the time.
