ASST. PLANT MANAGER

Are you looking for an active, stable work environment in a manufacturing field? A Local Agricultural Manufacturer is seeking a ASST. PLANT MANAGER for its growing operation. Position is full-time with health, Dental, Life Insurance, 401K, holiday and vacation pay plus bonuses. The candidate must be mature and have ability to operate with moderate supervision. Be detail oriented as well as accurately complete all production goals and challenges. Materials handling, Supervising experience, Warehouse experience necessary.

1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment a plus,

quality control experience is an added advantage.

Good mathematical skills are necessary and attention to detail required for inventory control.

Aids in overall flow of planning material production transfers from Blending and Mixing Department to packaging and shipping.

Identifies departmental supply and service needs and coordinates the ordering process with purchasing.

Works on monitoring quality assurance in developing and approving manufacturing procedures and records.

Works directly with Plant Manager on daily production planning, supplies, and personnel needs.

Aids in training and development of direct reports by providing challenging tasks and assignments

Direct work flow, expedite materials and manage production resources
