About The Role
The AVP E-Commerce is responsible for strategically developing and flawlessly executing the ecommerce growth and engagement, in alignment with the overall company strategy and business objectives, for Lane Bryant. They will collaborate with Merchandising and Marketing to define strategies for the online channel that support the brand and stores as well as drive the ecommerce business with a focus on increasing the conversion rate and UPT.
They will also be responsible for providing a best-in-class online customer experience and journey. They will directly manage Product Management, User Experience and Web Production teams. The role facilitates key cross-functional processes with IT, Merchandising, Marketing, Customer Service, Store Operations and Logistics to deliver a cohesive cross channel experience. With technology as the platform for the online digital experience, they will be the key customer of IT to define and deliver the technology roadmap for all digital platforms.

About The Role

The impact you can have
- Drive the strategy for ecommerce evolution focused on updated user experience, enhanced feature functionality and ongoing management of ecommerce operations.
- Drive online conversion and AOV through strategic product roadmap development and execution with the goal of driving incremental demand sales.
- Utilize web analytics, customer feedback and A/B testing methodologies to define the online customer experience.
- Establish key partnerships with IT to develop the digital technology roadmap and manage the development sprint cycles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Creative, Brand Marketing, and Digital Marketing to manage the seasonal go to market strategies and plans.
- Effectively manage third party vendors and service provider relationships.
- Lead and manage a team responsible for managing our online presence and web operations, optimizing sales on various platforms, and driving brand growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or engineering, preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive, relevant experience with at least 5 years leading Ecommerce at a multichannel specialty retail apparel business.
- Entrepreneurial leader with a flexible approach to problem solving.
- Expertise in implementing applications within an omni-channel retail company on time and within budget.
- Experience with SFCC a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills as an initiative-taker and the ability to develop and lead a team in a high growth, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to lead, influence and drive results with team and business partners.
- Experience operating in a matrixed organization and proven ability to influence required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to details, at both strategic and executional levels.
- Keen sense of ‘brand’ and customer experience.
- Keen ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency and manage others to do similarly.
- Demonstrated experience in growing revenue, optimizing costs, and maximizing profit.
