Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to small animal patients, including dogs and cats
- Perform physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and medical treatments as needed
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs
- Perform surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, and dental surgeries
- Communicate effectively with clients to educate them about their pet's health, discuss treatment options, and address any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care and client satisfaction
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- New York Veterinary License or eligibility to obtain licensure in New York
- Strong passion for veterinary medicine and dedication to providing high-quality care to animals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally under the guidance of experienced veterinarians
