Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing and Screening:
- Proactively identify and source potential investment opportunities through networking, industry events, and market research.
- Screen incoming pitch decks and business plans to assess alignment with investment criteria and strategic objectives.
- Due Diligence and Financial Analysis:
- Conduct rigorous financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation assessments, and scenario analysis.
- Perform comprehensive due diligence on target companies, evaluating market dynamics, competitive positioning, and growth potential.
- Investment Execution:
- Assist in structuring and negotiating investment terms and agreements.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee, outlining key findings, risks, and investment recommendations.
- Portfolio Management and Monitoring:
- Monitor and track the performance of existing portfolio companies, analyzing financial metrics, operational milestones, and market trends.
- Support portfolio company management teams with strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and follow-on financing rounds.
- Market Research and Industry Analysis:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive landscapes within target sectors.
- Develop investment theses and strategies based on industry insights and market intelligence.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and investors on portfolio performance, market trends, and investment activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investment documentation, due diligence findings, and investment committee materials.

- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of technology sectors, startup ecosystem dynamics, and venture capital investment trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and investment theses clearly.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with entrepreneurs and industry contacts.
