Pay: $40/hr

Duration: 7/1/24 -11/30/25 (18 Months) AND LIKELY TO CONVERT TO FTE AT THAT POINT

Location: Remote, US (SF, LA, NYC preferred so you can be near teammates)


The Sage Group is seeking an Associate Strategy & Operations Manager for our client, a technology company that connects customers with their favorite local and national businesses in over 4,000 cities, in all 50 states and Canada. Founded in 2013, they empower merchants to grow their businesses by offering on-demand delivery, data-driven insights, and better in-store efficiency, providing delightful experiences from door to door.


If you have 1-2 years investment banking, consulting, associate S&O, or sales ops experience, strong analytical skills leveraging intermediate Excel (there will be a screen involved), proficient SQL, and ad hoc data analysis chops to make recommendations around scoring initiatives and new virtual brand categories that will be promoted by merchants, then please apply!


Summary

Our Licensing sales and onboarding teams are the heart and soul of our Licensing Business, helping us partner with top merchants across the country to grow their revenue and help them operate even better.


As our Licensing grows both in scale and scope of offering, the strength of our sales engine and playbooks must grow with it.


We are looking for an Associate Strategy and Operations Manager to accomplish strategic plans and own daily operations that enhance sales and onboarding productivity by helping our teams be more impactful in targeting and closing the most valuable partnerships at scale.


Responsibilities

You will discover and make performance improvements across the sales and onboarding organization and build the foundation for it to grow.


This will include developing go-to-market playbooks, deep dive analyses, strategic plans to enhance productivity, process redesign, resource allocation and pipeline analytics.


You will sit at the center of our revenue generation engine - this will require prioritization and data-driven insights to ensure our teams are working against the right goals and have all the inputs needed to achieve them.

Build – Develop and drive new strategies and processes to optimize Doordash Licensing’s pre-sale motion


Strategize – Work with leadership to build and execute on initiatives to make the business 1% better every day


Experiment – Scope tests and experiments on everything from partner targeting improvements to process enhancements


Analyze - Build models to evaluate success and find opportunities for improvement


Influence – Work cross functionally with our analytics, growth, quality, supply chain and culinary development teams to scale business impact


We’re excited about you because…

You have a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy or sales operations


You have excellent Excel skills (can perform complex functions) and working proficiency of SQL


High-growth or early-stage startup experience strongly preferred


You have an established track record of achieving tangible outcomes and moving needles


You have experience leading projects, working in a team, and motivating people at all levels across a variety of job responsibilities


You can translate high-level goals into applicable plans & action items


You have experience working with Salesforce and other CRMs (this can be taught)


You have experience working with sales teams across onshore/offshore
