Summary


The Associate Sales Trainer will be responsible for helping train the sales team on product knowledge, selling skills, and interpersonal skills at the corporate office, virtually, and in the field.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Supports the development and execution of training practices utilizing knowledge of relative effectiveness for new hire onboarding, classroom training, and virtual training.

· Develops interactive training content and activities in alignment with Manager of Sales Training based on identified training gaps for new Territory Managers, Sales Associates, as well as existing members of the sales team.

· Works with Manger of Sales Training to plan, develop, and execute special training initiatives such as new product launches, super-regional meetings, and national sales meetings.

· Ensure sales training effectiveness by maintaining and evolving current onboarding curriculum, classroom trainings, and virtual trainings.

· Works with Manager of Sales Training to develop and conduct pre and post training needs analysis to ensure learning objectives have been met and adopted.

· Communicates with all external partners and vendors to ensure all training logistics and supplies are completed in a timely manner.

· Minimum of 1 field visit per month.

· Attends professional development opportunities as assigned by Manger of Sales Training.

· Performs special projects and analysis as appropriate for the position.

· Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor’s degree preferred in Education, Business or closely related discipline.

· Preferred: A minimum 1-2 years of sales experience or a minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience.

· Ability to travel nationally one time a month.

· Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

· Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public group, and/or boards of directors.

· Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts.

· Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information.

· Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
