Requirements:
2+ years of Project Management or Project Coordination experience with ability to create project schedules and estimates
2+ years of experience managing or coordinating IT infrastructure projects (networking, servers, cabling, AV, desktop services)
Experience working in an enterprise matrixed organization, ideally healthcare or highly regulated environment
2+ years of experience using MS Project online to build project plans, schedules and timelines
Ability to come onsite every day to Fontana and clinics in the Surrounding San Bernadino Areas
Day to day: Our client in the Healthcare space is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join the Capital Project Delivery Team based in Fontana. The position will be fully onsite, with your home base in Fontana and some site visits to clinics in the San Bernardino County area. This team delivers projects focused on the IT / infrastructure component of construction, which includes new buildings, expansions and remodels. As the Associate PM, you will interface with the cabling, desktop and installation teams to ensure successful build out of IT infrastructure. You must have a general understanding of network cabling, racks / servers and network gear, PCs, printers, AV equipment, etc. You will own the project funds and budget, project schedule, and coordinating with the construction teams and end users. You will utilize MS Project Online to build project plans, estimates, and timelines, as well as ServiceNow for ticketing and service requests. It is crucial for this individual to be professional, have exceptional soft skills, and understand the sensitivity of working in a Hospital environment.
