What You Will Do:

As the Associate Project Designer, you will be responsible for assisting Senior Project Designers in translating client requirements into efficient room designs utilizing cutting-edge design software like Revit. You will support the development of ergonomic operating room workflows and critical care room designs under the guidance of experienced team members. Additionally, you may collaborate with architects, field contractors, and medical professionals, aiding in the iterative process of refining plans for contracting, permitting, and client approvals. Additional responsibilities may require you to:

  • Participate in internal training sessions offered by CBO-Design Services to expand skills and understanding of the company’s design standards and practices.
  • Review basic architectural plans and contribute to the creation of room design drafts.
  • Monitor the drawing requests dashboard under supervision, assisting in executing design requests as directed.
  • Maintain organization of digital files, ensuring they align with company and departmental archiving standards.
  • Aid in reproducing drawings from non-digital architectural documents/graphics.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with stakeholders, gaining insights into their requirements and feedback on designs.
  • Support the team in the production of pre-install drawings and other deliverables.
  • Provide input during internal design discussions and brainstorming sessions.

What You Need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Design, Industrial Design or Engineering Technology (OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years’ equivalent and relevant experience)
  • 1-2 years in a relevant design field or a related academic background.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Ability to or interest in developing automation add-ins through the Revit API

$27.32/hr. – $49.13/hr., per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
