Associate Program Director Anesthesiology

St. Mary’s General Hospital is a community-based tertiary medical center focused on providing quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities-

• Assist the Program Director in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the anesthesiology residency curriculum.
• Play a key role in resident recruitment, selection, and evaluation processes, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
• Coordinate and oversee resident rotations, schedules, and educational activities to optimize learning experiences.
• Provide mentorship and support to residents, facilitating their professional and personal growth throughout the program.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Collaborate with faculty members to develop and deliver educational sessions, including lectures, workshops, and simulation exercises.
• Assist in the management of program operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and accreditation documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in anesthesiology and active medical license.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in anesthesiology.
• Previous experience in medical education, preferably as a faculty member or in a leadership role within a residency program.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
