Serena & Lily is seeking a Product Quality associate to work out of our Distribution Center in Rincon, GA. In this position, you will support corporate Quality and Sourcing teams in California on all DC related requests – i.e. issue investigation, inspections, rework, UPC/SKU verifications, RTV, re-label, sample management and any associated tracking. You will be the initial point of contact and onsite partner for DC teams for vendor caused product, labeling or packaging issues. This position reports to the Corporate Quality and Compliance Manager (based at the home office in California).
Responsibilities
Manage and train Quality Assistant
Product Inspections –identify and pull product, unpack, inspect, photo/document/recap, repack, report findings and recommendations, disposition/put away, partner with DC Inventory control team on required adjustments.
Returns/Damage reduction – support business teams with inspections, observation and documentation of product handling and storage, communication to DC partners on product standards.
Product issues – investigate, communicate findings, recommend solutions, gain approval and consensus, track and execute.
Corrective action/rework – manage and execute corrective action on product inventory – rework, repack, relabel, process RTV
Manage Return to Stock process to get first quality returned units back to selling stock
Manage QA area and disposition of products on quality hold.
Help create Quality process SOP’s.
Administrative duties as assigned – tracking and reporting on QA and Compliance activity.
Qualifications
MHE certification - ability to operate warehouse equipment
Knowledge of retail warehouse operations and systems
Able to lift or move heavy products
Comfortable using Outlook, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – experience with Avectous and Netsuite a plus.
Able to organize data and report findings in clear, concise manner
Highly responsive with excellent verbal and written business communication skills
Able to work a schedule that effectively supports partners in both the East and West coasts.
Retail experience a plus
Able to organize, lead, track and manage multiple projects
Able to build trust, strong partnerships and work cross functionally
Organized, accurate, strong attention to detail

Compensation
$70-75k per year is theanticipated starting base pay for this role. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills.
