Associate Product Manager/Product Manager, Generalist

This role is an outstanding and amazing opportunity as an APM which will give your career in product management a head start with great support from an entrepreneurial team and experience working with senior members of the product team on one or more products.

As a member of the product team, you will gain experience in conducting customer interviews that translate insight into action, writing requirements/product specs that meet our user and business needs, researching & communicating competitive analysis and also exploring new market/product opportunities.

You will:

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of one of our key products
• Understand current capabilities & add new features that will delight our users
• Interface with customers to understand needs across various use cases
• Gather, define, and clearly document requirements
• Collaborate with our Engineering, Design and Data teams to help build products
• Ensure a smooth release process, release notes, user documentation and sales enablement
• Research and understand the competitive landscape of music streaming for brick & mortar businesses
• Consume data and provide business insights based on metrics
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure timely delivery
• Research and analyze competitors, market trends, and industry shifts to inform product strategy
  
  

You have:

• 2-3 years of product management, investment banking, management consulting or similar experience
• Deeply analytical and skilled in working with product analytics tools to track the impact of product output
• Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and experience working with various stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset
• Strong SQL and data analytical skills preferred
• Experience in a startup environment is preferred
• Bachelor's degree from a top university (MBA or Graduate degree is a strong plus)

Compensation:

Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

The compensation band for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 plus equity and benefits for all team members.
