Associate Product Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Associate Product Manager to work closely with the product management team to drive the development and enhancement of our products.

As an Associate Product Manager, you will be involved in various aspects of the product life cycle, including bug tracking, requirement gathering, data analysis, product documentation, integration initiatives and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Product Planning and Execution:

  • Assist in executing product strategies aligned with company goals
  • Conduct research to identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth
  • Contribute to the development of product roadmaps and feature prioritization based on strategic objectives and customer feedback

Requirement Gathering And Documentation

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document product requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and feasibility
  • Translate customer needs and business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Groom feature backlog, regularly refining and updating based on evolving priorities and feedback

Data Analysis And Insights

  • Utilize data analytics tools and methodologies to analyze product usage, trends, and user behavior
  • Extract actionable insights from data to inform product decisions, prioritize features, and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to help execute against product performance and success metrics

Customer Engagement And Feedback

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through various channels, including surveys, meetings, and other forums
  • Act as a customer advocate within the organization, representing their needs and preferences in product discussions and decision-making processes
  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback to identify pain points, usability issues, and feature requests, incorporating insights into product planning and development

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product initiatives
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, refinement and daily standups
  • Assist in cross-functional enablement activities and communication around feature updated, bug fixes etc - i.e. in the form of release notes or other related communications

Bug Tracking And Quality Assurance

  • Facilitate the intake, triage, and resolution of reported bugs and issues, working closely with development and QA teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain a comprehensive bug tracking system, prioritizing bugs based on severity, customer impact, and business priorities
  • Help conduct regression and user acceptance testing and validation to ensure quality and reliability of product releases.

Systems Integrations

  • Serve as the primary liaison between external partners and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives, timelines, and outcomes
  • Lead the planning, execution, and management of system integration projects, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient and timely delivery
