Description
The Department of Psychology has an open full-time faculty position to teach across multiple programs including, but not limited to, BA/BS undergraduate, MS program in counseling psychology with specialization with Children/Youth, and MS in research psychology programs. The faculty member must hold at least a Master's degree in a clinical or counseling psychology field from an APA-accredited program. This person must be licensed or license eligible in the state of California, and demonstrate specialization in clinical services with children/youth. Preference given to Registered Play Therapist Supervisors (RPS-S). Preference will also be given to those who demonstrate strong APA writing skills. This position will teach courses in undergraduate and graduate programs, commiserate with the faculty member’s area of specialization, and may include core psychology courses, research, writing and data analysis courses, clinical courses, and faith integration courses. This position will be primarily responsible for teaching, mentoring, and advising students, and maintaining an active research/scholarship program. A demonstrated ability/potential to pursue extramural research funding is also desirable.
Specialization

$86,536.00 to $101,536.00 is the annual salary for this role and reflects what Azusa Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. Actual salary may vary based on the qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to salary, APU offers a competitive benefits package.
