As a member of the Clinical Performance Team, you will play a crucial role in representing Included Health externally, facilitating educational sessions, and providing invaluable support to our clients and internal teams.

Position Overview: Reporting to the Director of the Clinical Performance Team, the Associate Medical Director - Clinical Performance (Growth & Strategy) will serve as a key liaison between Included Health and external stakeholders. This role requires a proactive and dynamic individual who can effectively communicate the value of our clinical services, foster client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of our organization.

Position Description & Responsibilities

  • Visionary Leadership: Provide input on high-level strategic direction to the organization, ensuring alignment with company goals for growth and market expansion. Develop strategies to optimize client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
  • External Representation: Represent Included Health at conferences, seminars, and industry events, showcasing our expertise in integrated clinical navigation, virtual care, and care management. Foster connections with potential clients and partners.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with external organizations, healthcare providers, and industry stakeholders. Collaborate with partners to enhance service offerings, expand market reach, and drive business growth.
  • Data Analysis and Insights Reporting: Utilize data analytics to assess performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making. Provide reporting for internal stakeholders and external clients, offering insights into service delivery, outcomes, and value.
  • Educational Sessions: Develop and deliver engaging educational sessions for healthcare professionals, clients, and the general public on pertinent topics related to general health and well-being.
  • Sales Enablement and Market Expansion: Collaborate with the sales team to highlight the value of our clinical services during client meetings, contributing to upsell opportunities and enhancing client satisfaction. Drive revenue generation and support go-to-market strategies.
  • Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Work closely with current clients to understand their general health management needs, provide strategic guidance, and address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively. Cultivate long-term client relationships to foster preference and retention.
  • Implementation Support: Contribute to the development and implementation strategies for our new clients, ensuring client-specific strategies are enabled.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, client success, growth strategy, channel partnership, and GTM operations teams. Ensure alignment of clinical initiatives with business objectives aimed at growing our number of clients and members, company growth, and strategy.
  • Industry Thought Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in clinical care delivery. Share insights and thought leadership with internal teams, clients, and industry stakeholders through presentations, publications, and participation in industry events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Physician (MD/DO) with 5 years of post-residency experience. Licensure in good standing in your state of residence is required throughout your employment. Must maintain board certification in your primary specialty throughout employment.
  • Clinical Experience: Demonstrated high-quality clinical experience with a strong understanding of general health principles and best practices. Applicants who can speak to a wide range of medical conditions are preferred. Virtual care experience preferred.
  • Digital Health Experience: Candidates must possess a comprehensive understanding of the digital health industry, including current trends and technologies. Experience in leveraging digital health solutions to improve patient outcomes is highly desirable.
  • Revenue Generation Experience: Proven track record in roles that have contributed directly to business growth and revenue generation.
  • Project/Program Management: Proven experience in project or program management, with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of clinical initiatives that drive value for both Included Health and our clients.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, managing multiple priorities effectively and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Availability: Willingness to work outside regular business hours and travel, as required by business needs and client engagements. Travel availability of up to twice per month for 1-2 days each (averaged over the year), sometimes with short notice.

The United States base salary range for this full-time position is $174970 AND $253,705 equity + benefits + leadership bonus potential.

Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data.
