Job Description

This position will be responsible for the day to day oversight of educational speaker program operations, including supporting the HCP Speakers Bureau in partnership with the Manager, Speakers Bureau, and compliance monitoring of programming databases and data. The primary responsibilities of this role includes managing programming logistics and assets, vetting and onboarding of speakers, and monitoring programming data ensuring adherence to compliance policies, guidelines, and SOPs. This position partners with Marketing, Field, Legal, Medical, Regulatory, Compliance, Content Approval teams, and external partners. There needs to be a demonstrated ability to lead complex cross functional operational processes, strong project management skills with the ability to independently prioritize work and drive projects to completion, a collaborative spirit, empathy, and penchant for problem solving.

What You’ll Do

Daily Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Leads monitoring of educational speaker programming data and databases to ensure adherence to compliance policies, business rules, and SOPs.
  • Partners with Marketing to operationalize program initiatives and associated assets.
  • Strategizes with HCP Marketing teams on programming initiatives/objectives, budgeting, fulfillment needs, field training, and rollout.
  • Ensures programming adheres to compliance policies and business rules.
  • Serves as the lead to represent programming materials for review and approval through the Product Review Committee (PRC).
  • Assists with program and speaker related compliance escalations.
  • Assists with the annual HCP nomination, contracting, onboarding, and training processes, as well as other speaker-related initiatives.
  • Handles the speaker/attendee surveys for educational programs; collects and dashboards programming data.
  • Handles ad hoc speaker/program reporting requests.
  • Supports the training for Commercial field employees related to speaker programs. Develops and maintains new hire training on programming and speaker bureau management and supports live training to new hire field employees.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years’ experience in the Biotech, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industry with preferred experience with educational speaker programs and speaker bureaus.
  • Project management experience necessary.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrates critical problem-solving skills, and the ability to produce clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Works with a sense of urgency, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborates well, and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external partners.
  • Establishes effective relationships through mutual trust, acts with integrity, and keeps confidences.
