Associate IT Support

Position Summary:
Works as a part of a high-energy team to provide quality computer and phone support while maintaining the high degree of customer service. Handles tier I support tasks, including evaluation and prioritization of incoming requests. Supports a positive experience for end-users.

Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities

• Assesses user needs on work related issues.
• Sets up, disconnects, reconnects and moves equipment (i.e., phones, computers, etc.) in compliance with enterprise standards.
• Provides accurate and timely logging of basic tier I problems, requests, and resolutions in a ticketing system.
• Supports team projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of end user support services.
• Helps resolve operational problems and questions with both hardware and software.
• Performs minor upgrades on PCs.
• Installs, configures, and troubleshoots PC hardware, software and related peripheral equipment.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of PC hardware, software and operating systems like Windows 7, Windows 10
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organization skills and attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills and ability to meet quality standards
• Time management and multi-tasking skills
  
  

Preferred

• Associates degree
• Previous Help Desk Support experience
• Familiarity with Encryption Software, Antivirus, Cisco VIOP phones, Exchange Management Console (EMC), Active Directory, Citrix, Smartphone

The hiring range for this position is:

$39,000.00-$48,150.00
