Job Description And Duties

Do you enjoy a fast-paced workplace? Do you have a passion for environmental protection issues? The Registration Unit at CalRecycle is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual that wants to work in a multi-tasking environment!

We are looking for a strong communicator with tact and professionalism who is self-driven, creative, and customer focused to assist with the registration of Beverage Manufacturers and Distributors (BM & DS). To be successful in this position you will need to work cohesively with a team, and be open minded and flexible to new ideas and solutions. The classification for this position is Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA).

This position will leverage your skills to independently perform a full range of more responsible, varied and complex work associated with the Beverage Container Recycling Program. The AGPA will work in conjunction with BM & DS. In addition, the AGPA will analyze a wide range of program related issues to advise the Registration Unit supervisor in the development of progr am alternatives, policies and procedures.

Pending Budget Approval

This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the position’s designated headquarters location, as indicated on their duty statement, at their own expense.
