Maryland financial firm is looking to add a talented and hardworking Associate Financial Advisor to their growing team. The role of an Associate Financial Advisor is to maintain and grow relationships with an existing pool of clients, while maintaining the expected level of client care set forth by the firm. The Associate Financial Advisor will strive to provide a superior client experience and in doing so earn referrals from existing clients.
Salary: $45,000 + / year
depending on experience level, licenses, and / or certifications

What you will do:
Follow all securities industry compliance, regulatory and licensing requirements
Provide support by gathering data, developing analysis and scenarios, packaging and positing meeting materials, manage meeting notes and action items
Maintaining accurate client notes in CRM and utilize for workflows and opportunities
Participate in client meetings, manage client meeting notes and action items
Investment research and due diligence
Prepare updates, quarterly investment reviews and annual reviews by summarizing investment performance, account values and benchmark comparisons
Nurture existing client relationships through contact, meetings and communication
Attend conferences and continuing education events
Ongoing continuing education and staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory issues
Qualifications you need to succeed:
Experience Level: Entry Level Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree, finance or accounting preferred
1+ years’ experience in a financial planning support position strongly preferred, but not required
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Must be able to pass background check
Excellent oral, written, analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
