Cutting edge Oncology Biotech company focused on developing targeted therapies for patients with cancer. They have strategic partnerships and innovative approaches to drug discovery and development, aiming to bring novel therapies to market that could potentially improve outcomes for cancer patients. They require Oncology experience who are employed directly by Pharmaceutical or Biotech companies (CRO experience does not qualify).


They are looking for someone like you to join them as Associate Director, Statistical Programming who will report into their Head of Statistical Programming. You will independently lead their key Oncology Projects, be in charge of strategic input, cross-functional leadership, manage and influence timelines and key stakeholders. You will manage their CRO's and Vendors who focus on the SDTM and ADaM whilst you will be overseeing their work and doing in-house TLF programming.

  2. Pipeline: The company has a robust pipeline of drug candidates at various stages of clinical development. This includes both small molecule inhibitors and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) targeting specific molecular pathways involved in cancer growth.


Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of statistical programmers.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the statistical programming department.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in programming activities.


Project Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical, Biostatistics, Data Management) to develop programming strategies and timelines for clinical trials.
  • Plan, prioritize, and allocate resources effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables.


Statistical Programming Oversight:

  • Review and approve statistical programming deliverables, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex programming issues and statistical methodologies.


Process Improvement and Standardization:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in statistical programming processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Implement and maintain standardized programming practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.


Strong & Clear Communication and Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between the statistical programming department and other functional areas.
  • Communicate programming strategies, issues, and project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
