Primary Role

Develop, oversee, and maintain the strategy and daily pharmacy operations of SaveWay Compounding Pharmacy, a Myonex Company (SCP). The SCP provides comprehensive medication related care for the purpose of serving patients, investigators, and Sponsors. The Manager is responsible to ensure Myonex obtains and maintains SCP licensure in all 50 states in support of the Pharmacist in Charge. The Manager assists in the development and maintenance of SOPs to support providing pharmacy services for clinical trials that is in compliance with regulations and industry standards. The Manager will support Clinical Trial Patient Solutions (CTPS) management with growth strategy to support decentralized trials and pharmacy services to offer to Sponsors conducting clinical trials. The Manager will also be responsible to support the commercial operations of SCP related to compounding services as directed by the VP and the Pharmacist in Charge at SCP.

Duties

• Assisting, obtaining and maintaining applicable licenses as directed by the PIC in all 50 states and comply with all Federal and State regulations pertaining to the operations of pharmacies including providing clinical trial services
• Maintaining compliance to state, federal pharmacy laws and regulations to all activities performed in the pharmacy prescription dispensing of investigational products including non-sterile, sterile compounds and prescription medicines.
• Hire, retain, engage, and develop and oversee a team of pharmacy professionals including supervising pharmacy staff, filling and dispensing medications, communication with medical personnel and Sponsor organizations requiring pharmacy services for clinical trials.
• Work collaboratively with other functions across Myonex and SCP, such as Business Development, Marketing, Quality, and IT, to ensure successful business operations.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve SCP processes, SOPs and policies to label, dispense, pack and ship Direct to Provider or Patient for commercial and clinical trial medications such as investigational new drug products including compounded products
• Sponsor development of IT systems related to the operations of the pharmacy including research pharmacy accountability systems
• Ensure proper compliance and billing third party insurance carriers as applicable

Education & Experience:

• PharmD.
• Minimum 5+ Years Investigational Research Pharmacy managerial experience at large academic medical center with direct reports
• 5+ years experience in providing services to physicians, patients, Sponsors, and/or health systems.
• Focus on Oncology preferred.
• IRT expertise and experience
• Drug Pricing Knowledge (i.e. WAC, AWP)
• Specialty drug market knowledge and experience
• Must have or be willing to attain Delaware pharmacy license within the first few months of employment.
• Other applicable licensure must be attained on as "as needed" basis

• Commercial and Research Pharmacy Dispensing, Packaging, Blistering, Kitting, Labeling, Blinding, Compounding (sterile/non-sterile) expertise
