$110,000-120,000 annual compensation.

Job Summary: The Associate Director of Curriculum, reporting to the Director of Curriculum, plays a pivotal role in enhancing Helix Bar Review's educational offerings. Duties include collaborating with the Director to craft and refine the curriculum for in-school programs, ensuring a diverse array of questions, videos, and instructional content tailored to each partner school's requirements. The Associate Director is also charged with creating innovative courses and resources to equip students for the NextGen Bar Exam. Beyond curriculum development, the Associate Director oversees asynchronous classes, devises training materials for educators on optimal use of Helix's resources, and travels as needed to lead workshops, attend industry conferences, and instruct online webinars and Pass Classes.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Director in managing both internal and external resources essential for the development of law school programming, spanning from pre-orientation to graduation ceremonies.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments within AccessLex to design, sustain, and implement in-school programming that aligns seamlessly with the Helix Bar Review curriculum.
  • Engage with the Marketing and Engagement teams to effectively communicate with law school representatives, ensuring their specific needs for in-school programming are met.
  • Facilitate and conduct workshops and classes, offering both in-person sessions at law schools and virtual learning experiences online.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to guarantee the continuous success and enhancement of In-School Programming initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs).
    • REQUIRED
      • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse environment.
      • Bachelor’s Degree and J. D., Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA accredited institution.
      • State Bar Licensure in good standing.
      • Knowledge of bar exam preparation courses and grading of the written portion of the UBE or one or more jurisdictions.
      • Advanced knowledge of project management.
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in a law school environment that includes teaching, student interaction, curriculum development, and/or bar exam preparation.
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in grading written portions of the UBE or state bar exams (for a law school institution, commercial bar review program, or state bar organization).
    • PREFERRED
      • Advanced knowledge of the UBE.
      • Advanced knowledge of the California and/or Florida Bar Exams.
      • Experience implementing online educational programs.
      • Experience coordinating and managing multiple concurrent projects.
    • Background Experiences. The following candidate background experiences are desired:
      • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
      • Ability to meet production deadlines.
      • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
      • 3 or more years of demonstrated ability to work in the law school or bar exam preparation environment.
This is a full-time, exempt position in a remote location; the incumbent is expected to be present and accessible for at least 40 hours per week, subject to approved leave time, travel and other absences as described in the Employee Handbook or as otherwise agreed by the Company. The Company’s standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
