What You’ll Be Doing:

We are hiring for an Associate Director to join our Implementation Team.

The candidate selected will be a key member of the Implementation Team and will play a critical role in executing Evolent Health’s mission by contributing to the delivery of the valued-based strategy with Evolent Health’s partners and by contributing to initiatives to grow the department and team.

Collaboration Opportunities:

As part of the team, you will mentor Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators on partner delivery / implementation functions and contribute to key internal initiatives to drive efficiencies and best practices for delivery.

What You Will Be Doing:

Delivery

  • With minimal supervision guide day-to-day activities for at least one partner project and lead interactions with the partner for at least one initiative
  • Provide input and assistance for the creation and management of project plans during an implementation and / or ongoing operational effort
  • Work with program managers and project managers during implementations to create a single program plan across all Evolent workstreams
  • Guide client discussions and meetings during implementation and ongoing operational activities
  • Own the necessary delivery documents, including but not limited to project plans, issues and action logs, status reporting, and risk mitigation
  • Facilitate the identification of project impacts across all business areas.
  • Identifies efforts that will have the greatest strategic impact
  • Plans for key communications by considering both the audience and situation
  • Independently resolves escalated risks and issues with internal and partner team members
  • Independently communicates with project / staff level stakeholders from partner without oversight
  • Demonstrates consultative behaviors related to complex Evolent Health offerings
  • Understands multiple domains and interdependencies across domains
  • Independently leads more than one complex workstream
  • With minimal support, leads a minimally complex domain


Account Management

  • Establish and foster strong client and business partner relationships
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships


Qualifications – Required and Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (Required)
  • 4+ years of health care management and/or consulting experience (Required)
  • 4+ years of project management (Required)
  • Customer service skills (Required)
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office products (Required)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Project and Visio (Required)
  • Previous health care knowledge, preferably in one of more of the following areas: provider systems, health plans, payer contracting, bundled payments, risk model and / or ACOs / CINs (Preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Preferred)
  • Experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) (Preferred)
  • Six Sigma training or PMP project management certification (Preferred)
  • Agile or Scrum certification (Preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Clarizen (or other similar PPM application), Confluence, JIRA (Preferred)
  • Ability to comprehend and identify delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies (Preferred)
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize simultaneously (Preferred)
  • Absolute integrity and strong, hands-on work ethic (Preferred)


Technical Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
