Emory University’s Office of Planning and Administration is seeking an Associate Director of Assessment to help manage day-to-day operations for several university-level institutional effectiveness processes, including student learning outcomes assessment, Quality Enhancement Plan assessment, and administrative unit reviews.

Description
Emory University’s Office of Planning and Administration is seeking an Associate Director of Assessment to help manage day-to-day operations for several university-level institutional effectiveness processes, including student learning outcomes assessment, Quality Enhancement Plan assessment, and administrative unit reviews.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops, implements, and manages assessment projects and processes for the Office of Planning and Administration (OPA).
- Conducts research and develops assessment strategies for the University's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP): Connect, Integrate, Reflect: Experiential Education at Emory.
- Provides guidance and support for the QEP Assessment Committee.
- Leads QEP assessment trainings and workshops for faculty and staff.
- Develops assessment materials, including guides, surveys, rubrics, and reports.
- Collects and evaluates university assessment data.
- Collaborates with OPA staff to manage several institutional effectiveness reporting processes including student learning outcomes assessment, student services outcomes assessment, administrative unit reviews, and ad-hoc assessment initiatives.
- Prepares compliance reports for university accreditation and federal reporting requirements.
- May supervise staff.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
- A master's degree and two years of higher education work experience assessing student learning outcomes for degree programs, general education, and/or university-level academic initiatives or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience teaching college-level courses
- Experience managing large, ongoing projects and initiatives
- Experience working with faculty on assessment, curriculum, and/or general education committees
- Experience developing assessment instruments and writing assessment reports
- Experience with SACSCOC accreditation
