Position Purpos

This is a full-time, exempt position that will be reporting to the Director, Development. This early career development professional will be working in tandem with more senior developers to advance complex projects within one or more regions. Tasks will include administrative support and internal record keeping in addition to supporting project advancement across different work categories (e.g. land and title, environmental and permitting, electrical interconnection, commercialization). The role requires an analytical and personable self-starter who can maintain a detail-oriented approach under a deadli

Key Responsibilit


  • ies:
    Project Administration: support project budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and cost control duties including creating and presenting project scopes, schedules, and budgets to support internal approval proce
  • sses.Team Coordination: coordinate between project team members, including with other internal departments (e.g. finance, accounts payable, legal, etc.) and external consultants and law
  • yers.Project Development: support more senior development team members in completing the following
  • tasksLand and Title: secure site control necessary for project, access, and interconnection. Assist in ordering, reviewing, and clearing
  • titlePermitting: identify applicable local, state, and federal permitting requirements and assist in the preparation and submission of permit applicat
  • ions.Public Relations and outreach: assess project needs and work with project team to draft and carry out public relations activi
  • ties.Electrical Interconnection: research and interpret tariff rules regarding generator interconnection. Assist in the preparation and submission of interconnection applications and management of ongoing interconnection stu
  • dies.Commercial Offtake: assist in tracking and bidding on applicable opportuni

Work Experience & Require


  • ments:
    Undergraduate degree (masters preferred) with strong academic
  • record.0-3 years of energy development experience; energy storage experience preferred. Open to candidates with peace corps, veteran, or other public service expe
