Associate Designer
The Associate Designer works closely with the design team to develop and create innovative and trend-forward designs for our various apparel collections.
Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of sketches, technical drawings, and tech packs
Participate in trend research and analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, production, and graphics
Attend and contribute to design meetings
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysis
Assist in sample management and coordinate with manufacturers
Support the design team in various design projects and tasks
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
Prior experience in a design role, preferably in the apparel industry
Proficient in design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong creative and conceptual skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Good communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes

Annual Salary $58,000-75,000
The offered salary for this position will vary based on role requirements determined by NYC Alliance, skill set and years of experience
