Job Description Summary


The Associate Brand Manager will help guide the growth of the Eagle Foods brand portfolio, primarily assisting and leading projects on the Meals & Sides and Snacks teams. Responsibilities include leading and assisting with innovation, communications, brand and competitive reviews, sell-in materials, and business management.


Essential Functions


  • Strategy – Champion our consumers and strategic plans within the organization.
  • Drive a consumer-first mindset in planning and executing marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent approach to creative design and messaging.
  • Bring fresh ideas for connecting with our target and growth consumers.
  • Innovation - Lead innovation projects through Stage Gate.
  • Develop strategic point of view on products, packaging, pricing, and support.
  • Provide marketing inputs for consumer research efforts.
  • Manage weekly team meetings, follow ups, and problem-solving initiatives to ensure successful, on-time product launches.
  • Communications and Activations - Assist team and partner agencies in coordinating and executing marketing communications across TV, digital, social, PR, and in-store efforts.
  • Bring creative and strategic thinking to help plan initiatives that will drive trial and encourage purchase.
  • Ensure partners have most up to date assets for development.
  • Ensure creative assets are approved by key stakeholders, including legal clearance.
  • Manage social media communications across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Data Analytics - Regularly analyze Brand, Competitive and Category performance and provide team with updates and recommendations for actions or pivots.
  • Conduct weekly analytic dives and assess areas of opportunities and threats.
  • Track, evaluate, and report on competitive brand positioning, pricing, marketing and social/digital tactics, performance.
  • Conduct product reviews with R&D and Insights partners including coordinating product tastings, procurement of samples, and deck preparation.
  • Business Management - Coordinate and execute business-related marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate product specs, sell-sheets, Neilsen set up.
  • Maintain product portfolio tracker.
  • Assist with customer presentations and related questions.
  • Manage website updates and report data analytics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA strongly preferred).
  • 2+ years of CPG Brand Management experience; Food or Beverage preferred.
  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills.
  • Project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Syndicated data systems a plus
