Position Summary

The Associate/AVP in the Global Distribution COO team will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational, administrative, and strategic initiatives of the distribution department. This individual will work closely with the Distribution COO and Sales Management to ensure the effective execution of distribution strategies, process enhancements, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses a robust background in finance and project management. Essential Duties

  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Prepare and organize correspondence, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets for meetings with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Collect, analyze, and report on distribution metrics and KPIs.
    • Utilize Salesforce to optimize sales operations and generate reports on project progress and deliverables.
    • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and insights that support strategic decision-making.
    • Assist Sales and Finance leadership with quarterly strategy and planning, including forecasting and financial metric analysis.
  • Process Improvement
    • Prepare and organize correspondence, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets for meetings with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Collect, analyze, and report on distribution metrics and KPIs.
    • Utilize Salesforce to optimize sales operations and generate reports on project progress and deliverables.
    • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and insights that support strategic decision-making.
    • Assist Sales and Finance leadership with quarterly strategy and planning, including forecasting and financial metric analysis.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Understand and enhance client engagement models across Wealth, Institutional, and other client channels.
    • Organize bi-annual client and sales review processes for senior management.
    • Support fundraising efforts to expand the global investor base.
    • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
    • Communicate effectively with internal distribution teams on behalf of the Global COO of Distribution to provide updates on progress and performance.
    • Interface with internal and external parties with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Project Management
    • Manage cross-functional projects within the Distribution business, coordinating with the broader organization.
    • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
    • Coordinate with various teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Operational Support
    • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the distribution team.
    • Coordinate and manage distribution-related projects and initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Assist with business planning and spending analysis.
    • Partner with HR, Finance, Operations, Corporate Strategy, Investments, Marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless connectivity and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in a professional office setting
  • Proven experience in a corporate environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM software

Estimated Compensation

Base Salary: For an NY based position, the base salary range is $100k to $120k This is an anticipated range only.

Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus
