Job Description

Messer Strickler Burnette, Ltd., a civil litigation firm with a national practice, is seeking experienced associate attorneys to join our Florida practice. MSB is a mid-sized law firm with offices in Florida, Illinois, Kansas, California, Louisiana and Pennsylvania. We focus primarily on commercial and consumer financial services litigation and compliance, defending financial services companies in litigation and assisting with maintaining compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Whether your passion is legal writing, in-depth discovery, trial work or appellate advocacy, we offer the chance to build your strengths and hone your skills in a casual and congenial environment designed to help all our team members succeed. Candidates will be involved in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit discussions through trial and appeal, and will work closely with our team to achieve outstanding results for our clients.

Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Florida; licensure in Georgia and other states is a bonus, but not required. Since this position is fully remote, qualified attorneys from across Florida are encouraged to apply. Experience in federal civil litigation is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Salary starts at $125,000.00 and increases with experience.
