We are expanding our team and seeking a talented and experienced Associate Account Director to join us. If you are passionate about account management and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

The Associate Account Director will be critical in managing and nurturing client relationships, driving strategic initiatives, and overseeing the execution of high-quality advertising campaigns. This position will report to the Account Director and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.

The client is a Fortune 10 energy company with several brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Account Director to oversee annual client planning and ongoing strategic initiatives
  • Manage budgets for projects as needed. Work with the Account Director to ensure an accurate budget across the full client portfolio is updated monthly
  • Work closely with the Account Director to manage key brand campaign concepting and production. Lead the team through the execution of campaign deliverables
  • Act as central oversight on various client projects. Work with Account Supervisors and Account Managers to manage creative development and internal/client communication
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting professional growth and development
  • Coordinate with creative, digital, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Work closely with the Account Director to lead and mentor account management teams
  • Ensure client feedback relevant to all brands is communicated to the appropriate team members and is fully implemented
  • Lead the team through a thorough QA process of all client deliverables including checking against legal guidelines, previous client feedback, and general grammar/spelling/etc
  • Improve processes, particularly those that affect all of the client's brands
  • Intake new client opportunities and work with internal teams to estimate and scope
  • Work with the Account Director to identify new opportunities and activate plans to capitalize on them
  • Work with Project Manager(s) to develop timelines and ensure all work is tracked accordingly and delivered on time
  • Work with the Resource Manager to manage future resourcing requirements proactively
  • Understand and work closely with the Producer to lead portions of production processes
  • Assist the Account Director with monthly executive summaries
  • Work closely with the integrated agency team on campaign development and launch and other key initiatives as needed
  • Foster strong relationships both internally and with key client contacts
  • Serve as a backup to the Account Director during times of out-of-office


Requirements:

  • Fast learner with a "can-do" attitude
  • Adhere to Drake Cooper values at all times
  • Ability to manage change while maintaining a calm, composed, and reassuring presence for the team
  • Comfortable working with Fortune 10 energy company
  • 7+ years of agency experience
  • Production experience preferred
  • Experience working with Integrated Agency Team preferred
