Position: Assistant Stylist

Description:

NYC-based private styling firm is looking to hire an Assistant Stylist. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who is passionate about both fashion and styling. This is a very fast-paced environment, so please apply if you’re up for a challenging and fun job that will involve shopping, styling, closet organizing, and working hands on with Lead Stylists and private clients. We are looking for a polished and detail-oriented professional with the ability to communicate well with UHNW clientele. Must live in the NYC metro area.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with private client appointments (shopping, wardrobe organization, outfit documentation)
• Handling returns, size changes, and follow-up with brick and mortar stores and online retailers
• Scheduling tailor for client appointments, consulting with tailor on fit and items in alterations
• Compiling client purchase lists and receipts for billing
• Tracking, logging, and submitting client appointment hours for billing
• Scheduling messengers, shipping/receiving, checking in memos
• Creating client look books in Photoshop
• Updating VT Instagram account as needed
• Light personal assisting for Creative Director (purchasing items and running errands)

Qualifications:

·     Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

·     Photoshop experience is a plus

·     Technologically savvy

·     Strong organization skills

·     Up to date on luxury fashion news and trends

·     Ability to travel domestically and internationally
