About The Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY:
Northeastern University Sports Performance is seeking to fill a vacancy for the position of Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, which will operate under Northeastern University Health and Counseling Services (UHCS) and report to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position is intended for entry-level candidates who are seeking additional experience at the university level working with an athlete-centered performance care model. Candidates may seek a master's degree as a part of this position, but it is not a requirement of employment. This position delivers strength and conditioning services to all NCAA Division-I intercollegiate athletes at Northeastern University who compete in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) and Hockey East.
This position is a 10-month, full-time, benefits eligible position that includes a tuition waiver as part of employment benefits.

Responsibilities Include
- Providing performance interventions to athletes as assigned and demonstrate proficiency with all scientific methods outlined by the department.
- Work in a collaborative model where they may be responsible for implementing training programs with teams/athletes not directly assigned to them.
- Collaborating with coaches, team physicians, sports medicine fellows, athletic training students, physical therapy residents, and other clinical students associated with Sports Performance and UHCS.
- CSCS Certification
- BS in Related Field
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Current CPR/AED certification
