Pay: $30,000 to $33,000 per year (Pay range may vary based on geographic location)

Job Summary:

The Men’s & Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach will provide overall assistance to the soccer programs.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the management of all day-to-day operations of the program including, but not limited to the following tasks:
    • Assist in identification of potential student-athletes, recruitment of qualified student-athletes, and maintenance of recruitment files.
    • Assistance with organization and coordination of daily practice plans.
    • Assistance with game day preparations, including field set-up and break down, uniform and equipment preparation, game-plan preparation, warm-up activities, and game evaluation.
    • Assist with inventory management of uniforms and equipment, and provide input into purchasing decisions on new equipment.
    • Assist with scheduling and travel plans, including the organization of lodging and meals on road trips, and timely completion of expense reports.
    • Assist with video operations and analysis.
    • Scouting of opponents.
    • Assist with the monitoring and supervision of student-athletes, to include athletic activities, academic progress, eligibility concerns and disciplinary issues.
    • Coordination of student-athlete community service projects in conjunction with the NAIA Champions of Character program.
    • Participation in program and athletic department fund-raising efforts.
    • Work effectively with students, student-athletes, administrators, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, officials, and coaching peers.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
  • At least two years prior coaching experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Institution
  • At least three years prior coaching experience
  • NAIA knowledge and experience
  • Recruiting experience
