Job Summary: The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for supporting the Property Manager in the overall management of a portfolio of properties. This includes assisting with administrative tasks as well as tenant and vendor relations. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday, located in Charlotte, NC.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Assist with lease agreements, renewals, and move-in/move-out processes.
Coordinate tenant events and community activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant and property records.
Prepare and distribute notices, newsletters, and other communications.
Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Liaise with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services.
Assist with bank deposits.
Assist with marketing and advertising of available units.
Conduct property tours for prospective tenants.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, property management, or related role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Customer service oriented with the ability to handle tenant issues professionally.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
