Assistant Project Manager - High End Interiors Construction (+30M)

Your company

You'll be part of a nationwide construction general contractor firm with offices in Miami / Fort Lauderdale with over 30 years of history, projects in all South Florida. Specialized in High End Hotels, Retail, Restaurants, Commercial and others. Projects ranges between 5 and over 50M.

Responsibilities

Support the PM's/ VP in managing contracts, costs, schedules, safety, and quality throughout all phases of the construction process.

Manage expectations, commitments and day to day operations with the clients, subcontractors, architects and owners, building trust and value throughout the construction process.

Participate in reviewing and evaluating documentation related to the planning, site investigation, design, construction, and contract administration.

Responsible for all pay applications and, change orders, etc.

Attend project-related meetings, capture minutes, and record issues.

Qualifications

B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, related field and/or related construction experience.

2-10 years or more years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor in Commercial Interiors, Education, Retail, Class A Offices, Restaurants, renovations, etc.

To be successful you need to be able to read construction drawings, coordination, and be familiar with South Florida area subcontractor and vendor market.

Organized, time management, passionate and communication skills are also crucial to the success of the role.

Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software's are important.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will receive a package of up to $80,000 - 100,000 base plus benefits, bonus, allowances, and other perks.
