Position Summary
As an Assistant Professor - School Counseling, under the guidance of the Program Director, you will facilitate learning, engage in scholarship, service, or a combination of these activities within the School Counseling program. Your responsibilities may include leading webinars, workshops, orientations, and providing educational planning services for current candidates and alumni.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Doctoral or equivalent terminal degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of PK-12 school counselor experience (preferred)
Demonstrated leadership in school counseling
Active membership in professional school counseling organizations
Familiarity with the ASCA National Model and ethical standards
Experience or commitment to technology in distance learning
Ability to incorporate experiential learning for student engagement
Valid Pupil Personnel School Counselor Credential or reciprocal credential

Creative and original contributions to the field
Service
Service to the University, Community, and Profession commensurate with academic rank
