Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Psychology department as a Tenure-Track Faculty member. The primary responsibility will be teaching core and elective undergraduate courses in Psychology, such as Human Growth and Development, Child Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology, and APA Style of Writing for Psychology Minors. Additional courses in specialized areas within Psychology may be required based on departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
Teach a standard load of 12 credit hours per semester using a blend of in-person, hybrid, and distance delivery methods.
Provide academic advising to students.
Engage in university, professional, and community service.
Contribute to scholarship in the field of Psychology.
Position Requirements
Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field (ABD considered).
Minimum 9 months (equivalent to 1 academic year or 2 semesters) experience as an Assistant Professor, college-level Psychology Teacher, or Instructor.
Experience teaching undergraduate or graduate-level Psychology courses.
Proficiency (minimum 1 year or 2 semesters) with classroom technology including management systems, video conferencing software, and Microsoft Office Programs.
Experience Teaching Developmental, Educational, Or School Psychology Courses Preferred.
Advising or mentoring experience, including supervision of undergraduate research, preferred.
Ability to work remotely from home, with a requirement to live within commuting distance of campus.
Salary range: $47,340.00 to $60,000 per year, along with comprehensive health and retirement benefits.
