Job Description
Cameron University Department of Business is seeking faculty who value connections with students, continuous classroom innovation, and commitment to student engagement. Our faculty feel the benefits of working independently and collaboratively within the department. Students benefit from earning a degree in one of our six-degree programs at the associate, baccalaureate, and graduate levels. Our opening is a Marketing tenure track position, starting in Spring or Fall of 2024; this is not a remote teaching position as office hours and instruction are provided on campus. Faculty members have access to professional development and lectureship funds which can be used to provide high quality educational engagements to graduate and undergraduate students, in both the traditional classroom (on campus) and online. The targeted teaching load is 24 hours per academic year, excluding summers, averaging 12 hours per semester. While teaching is our priority, published research and service responsibilities are requirements for retention, promotion, and tenure.
Minimum Qualifications
Completed MBA or ABD with a firm completion date of a Marketing graduate degree from a regionally accredited and/or ACBSP university will be considered. The candidate must have earned a minimum of 15 graduate hours in one of these fields and will teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing.
