Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance

McKendree University seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance at its Lebanon, Illinois campus to begin in the Fall 2024 semester.

The McKendree University School of Business offers a B.B.A. degree with a significant general education component and several majors, including a major and a minor in Accounting. The School of Business also offers an M.B.A. program. The successful candidate may participate in both programs. This position could be a one-year renewable non-tenure track, or a tenure track position. This position requires a master’s or terminal degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area of business. In all instances, preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience who also have significant experience in the field of accounting.

The successful candidate may be required to teach day and evening classes on our McKendree University campus in Lebanon, Illinois and online.

Courses the candidate will teach include Intermediate Accounting, Auditing, Finance, and others.

McKendree University is a private university located in the historic city of Lebanon, Illinois, 25 minutes from downtown St. Louis. With a total enrollment of over 2,500 students, McKendree offers undergraduate and graduate programs on campus and online.
