Assistant Production Manager-2nd Shift

Job Description

PrideNow is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Assistant Production Manager in Georgetown, KY for our automotive manufacturing client. This is a direct hire position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the production team has the skills and resources to meet customer requirements.
• Develop, train, manage, and retain production associates to maintain a high-performance team.
• Lead problem-solving sessions to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, and productivity to ensure continuous improvement.
• Manage manpower requirements and communicate effectively using manpower boards and schedules.
• Assist HR with disciplinary actions as needed and maintain fair workplace practices.
• Develop production systems and processes to meet customer demands efficiently and effectively.
• Assist management with maintaining existing product lines and developing new model products to expand the company's offerings.
• Design and develop production equipment and tools to improve production line efficiency.
• Foster a positive working environment and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, and customers.
  
  

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of management experience within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Background in production/manufacturing is a must.
• Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends when required.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

60K – 65K
