Assistant Principal

Job Duties

  • Assist the Principal in the daily operation of the school including but not limited to leading staff in results-driven practices to improve student outcomes for all learners and ensure an engaging and safe learning environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional Educator Licenses (PEL) with General Administrative Kindergarten through Grade 12 Endorsement.

Preferred Characteristics

  • Completed state-mandated training to perform teacher evaluations.
  • Experience working with elementary school students.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with students, staff, and the school community.
  • Management style that embraces the philosophy of shared leadership.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of student outcomes and school performance.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Professional Learning Communities.
  • Knowledge of or experience with English language learning.
