FERRAGAMO is seeking an Assistant Planner to be responsible for reporting, analysis, and making data driven recommendations to aid the department's planning process. The role reports into the Vice President of Planning and Allocation located at our New York Office. We are hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days of flexibility to work from home. The ideal candidate will possess retail business acumen with a data driven approach, eager to further their career within the planning and allocation space.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Recap weekly business for Full Price and Off-Price Retail and Wholesale channels
  • Analyze sales and inventory productivity by location and category, calling out business opportunities
  • Support the analysis and development of new processes, tools, templates, and methods
  • Maintain effective communication with various departments, including Buying, Finance, and Retail Operations
  • Create ad-hoc reports as needed


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Expert in Excel: Must be able to create pivot tables, v-lookups, and advanced formulas in Microsoft Excel
  • Must be comfortable working with multiple data sources and information systems
  • Ability to develop reports for executive-level review
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking; organizational, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills required
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are necessary
  • 1-2 years of experience in merchandise planning or buying preferred
  • Experience with SAP and EBI a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent
